it was a cold, stormy day when we received the scroll with an official-looking seal from mount olympus. it told of a camp like ours but for romans. we were shocked, curious, and yeah a little afraid of what that meant for us..who wouldn't be? chiron had gathered everyone and announced the news of this new camp called camp jupiter and here's the kicker..that they'd be staying with us. apparently there had been a breach of monsters and their camp had been destroyed. he announced their legion (what the heck was a legion??) was coming in two days time and we would play host to them while their camp was being rebuilt. there were questions alright...who were these strangers? how would monsters break in? was this a trap? we didn't know the answers to those questions but we did know we couldn't abandon our brothers and sisters in need so we welcomed them. chiron asked for diplomacy, the aphrodite kids began giggling about possible new dates, and the ares kids sharpened their weapons for new prey. needless to say everyone seemed to have their own agenda and friendship wasn't exactly on the forefront. the shock turned to curiousness as we all awaited their arrival...

our legion made it's way towards the grecian camp. the news of another camp had been a shock to us. we had no idea of it's existence, but when we received word that there was someplace safe we could go until the camp was rebuilt how could we turn it down? the circumstances were suspicious to say the least. it's still a mystery as to how the monsters broke our walls in the first place..some pointed fingers, but before we could hold trials we needed to secure our troops and this camp was the only place we had. so we marched our brave troops towards this odd, new place. gracious for the hospitality but nervous about trusting strangers, especially grecian strangers. still, we fight on because that's what romans do.
