Marshlands
Soil is covered in dense expanses of stagnant water and mushy marshland. The swamps and black pools make up the entirety of Soil's water supply, feeding and usually destroying all but the most well-adapted plantlife that dares to takes root in its earth.

Black Woodland
An expanse of particularly dark forestry found deep within Soil. There is no canopy to prevent light from streaming in; on the contrary, most of the abundant plant life is deadened and thin, kept on the brink of life by a massive black tree and the glassy pool that feeds it toward the center. The darkness seems to be its own ambient light, as if the outer atmosphere acts a dimmer for the sun to filter through before reaching the treeline.

Soil
Most of Soil is a bleak wasteland, dotted with black forests that have adapted to thrive off the poisoned water of its swamps. Soil is said to be home to cults practicing dark magic and werebeasts, but few have seen such individuals firsthand. The land of Soil is said to be a living, breathing force on its own, able to attack intruders or those it deems unworthy through the forces of nature.
